Palm oil is a not environmentally friendly ingredient of the baguettes and sandwiches, the extraction of which leaves animals without their own habitat and requires burning or chopping down trees, because of this, yearly, south east asian countries are affected by the haze (terrible air pollution). Last year, for the first time, Singapore had to close schools for one day because the air pollution was too bad. It is used in many food products, but we think it's better to try with something that is affecting us. There is sustainable palm oil, which is produced in much more environmentally friendly conditions and in most cases is not produced illegally. So we hope that in signing this petition you support us with our campaign to both save the lives of animals and reduce the amount of air pollution.
