Years later this is still great initiative to increase amenity, vibrancy & sense of place for more locals in this corner of Richmond. The park should not just be for kids, dogs & neighbours bordering the park. Yes to more & varied hospo and services in the area.

Great use of a space that is currently a run down eyesore waiting for squatters & vandals to pounce. I've walked my dogs here since 2005 and it will be great to have a coffee in such a lovely park.

How fantastic for Richmond families to have somewhere we the children can eat and play in the grass.
As a cricket parent it will also allow us to actually eat breakfast every summer morning when we have to be at that ground from 7:30am - 12 noon.
Good luck guys. :)

What a great use for this historic building. The park is great for kids and so under used. It will be great to be able to get a coffee while the kids are playing and there won't be any amenity impacts because residential buildings are so far away which is important to me as a Richmond local.

Fantastic idea! So depressing seeing that empty building for so many years. And this will hopefully bring more joy to the park, which seems to be dropping in numbers. As a Richmond resident, I'm proud of projects like this. It makes us a fun and vibrant city suburb.
