It has been made public that Dr. Vargas will be making administrative changes within the Rochester City School District. We are hoping that these changes will not impact Dr. Deasure Matthew and her current role as Chief of Schools. Dr. Matthew has served the Rochester City School District for 23 years and her extensive experience as classroom teacher, administrator, principal, and now chief of schools is invaluable to the success of the city schools. Dr. Matthew always puts the best interest of our students ahead of any other interests and her support of the schools she serves is commendable.
