December 11, 2019, the Chicago Public Schools Board of Education voted to revoke the charter for Frazier Preparatory Academy effective for the 2020 - 2021 school year. We the undersigned, petition the Illinois State Board of Education to reinstate the charter for Frazier Preparatory Academy so it will remain open for the 2020 - 2021 school year and beyond.
As parents, guardians, students and community members we will work hand in hand with staff to ensure that growth in student achievement will continue so that students will be successful in high school, in college and in their respective careers.

As a parent and a resident of North Lawndale, I am saddened and sickened over school closures. School closures have become the norm in our community. It is with much prayer and hopes that this situation can and will be turned around.
My son had been going to Frazier since the 4th grade and has improved tremendously. His self esteem and belief in himself has grown. He is confident in his school work and ability to complete the lessons he is taught. I have never regretted my decision to send him there. Frazier is a great school. Please keep Frazier open.
I must say that my children have been apart of Frazier Prep since the beginning. The conception of the school. My girls were involved and so was I as a parent volunteer. My daughter was the first valedictorian of the first graduating class of Frazier prep. Frazier prep is full of life and family! They are community!
I have 2children that attend this school and would be devastated if they can no longer attend due to lack of funding this school has helped my children tremendously with their reading and math
Frazier Prep is under an administration that promotes a warm, family atmosphere, and are dedicated to seeing our students excel academically. Our students are being prepared for life long excellence as they merge into society. Please allow us an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our students without disruption in their academic endeavors.
Did an eagle project to collect school supplies for this school. Great students and staff! I'd hate to see this school close down.

My grandchildren went to Fraiet and one still does. Frazier is a good Prep school and m ione did very well. My grandson played football, went on and played all the way through High School and was given a Football Grant to attend and play at University. This is a great school and this neighborhood will be lost without it.
