This petition is to support Josh Lang to be the next state representative of the 78th District of Pennsylvania. On November 12th at the Bedford Elks each of the 8 candidates will have the opportunity to speak for 5 minutes. After speaking an outsider moderator will ask the same 3 questions to each potential candidate. After each candidate has spoken the floor will be open up to nominations by eligible committee members. In order to get a spot on the ballot, each potential candidate must receive a nomination and a second. Following the nomination process, committee members will vote for the Bedford County Republican Candidate. The purpose of this petition is to urge members of the Bedford County Republican Committee to support me to be the next state representative of the 78th District of Pennsylvania. Prior to November 12th I will provide the results of this petition to members of the committee I'm a dedicated community leader with a proven track record. I can honestly say that I truly care about helping others. Becoming the next state representative of the 78th District would be more than a job to me; it would be a way of life by serving others, as I have continued to do over the last several years. If I'm elected as the next state representative of the 78th District I will always make myself available to others no matter the circumstances. I have always put others and their needs above my own, dating back from when I made sure my soldiers were taken care of when I served my country. We need a leader, not a politician that isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty, to work hard, and fight for the citizens of this district. As a combat veteran of Afghanistan, I understand public service, what it means to sacrifice and how to make tough decisions duringthe mostdifficulttimes. I have a wide range of experience to include program and business development to non-profit and higher education experience. However, all of my work and experience involved helping others.
