For 27/29 Hancock Street, Affordable Housing Standards include:

1. Adequately sized apartments that include kitchenettes and bathrooms, and meet modern standards for privacy and dignity, as recently constructed in Philadelphia, New York and Los Angeles for women.
2. The capability to accommodate lower-income women with children.
3. A community that is appropriately sized for on-site support (10 units), as Mayor Wu has stated: “The only way to truly help someone stabilize is to address their individual needs, person by person.” - Boston Globe
4. Compliance with all zoning and all current fire and other applicable building codes. This is essential to everyone’s safety.
5. A drug-free environment with zero tolerance policies strongly enforced.
