The Drew University a cappella groups struggle each semester, fundraising to compensate for lack of sufficient financial support. The Student Government Budget Board is required to deny "selective clubs" budgetary access; however, the nature of performance groups requires that we have vocally-trained members to uphold our standards as musical groups.

While we recognize and respect the position that selective clubs cannot receive "budgets" per se, we are presenting our position to the Budget Board to explain why we need and deserve some form of financial support!!

If YOU support the idea of performance groups receiving financial support from the University (just like every other club does!!) PLEASE sign our petition so that we can show how much support Drew a cappella has from our community! This will really benefit our growth and outreach as performance groups, as well as ease our fundraising burden so that our members can dedicate more time to balancing academics, work, and our shared passion for music.
