Support Sunland-Tujunga Neighborhood Council Meeting & Office at 7747 Foothill Tujunga

The Sunland-Tujunga Neighborhood Council (STNC) supports Los Angeles City Council File #16-0298. We request that the City identify available City assets for neighborhood councils to use to support the Neighborhood Council board and committees in their work.
The STNC is in a critical situation. We have been without an office since December 2015. We cannot wait for the City Administrative Office to “identify available City assets” for us because the office space at 7747 Foothill Blvd., Tujunga is underutilized now and will have even more space now that Councilmember Fuentes resigned as of Sept. 11, 2016.
The community stakeholders support the Sunland-Tujunga Neighborhood Council to request that the City Council put this item on its earliest possible agenda, in order for the STNC to be provided office, storage and meeting space at the 7747 Foothill Blvd., Tujunga as quickly as possible.
Please move this item expeditiously through the process for the good of neighborhood councils and the community stakeholders we serve.

Our neighborhood council should never have been evicted in the first place. The action of the vindictive, useless city council representative Felipe Fuentes. Please bring the STNC back to the administrative offices.
Mayor Garcetti and candidate for reelection, please show your "Back to Basics" slogan and return the North Valley City Hall keys, to our Sunland Tujunga Neighborhood Council president, so we may resume all our community meetings, now that felipe fuentes has resigned. The NVCH rightfully belongs to your constituents and not exclusively to city council members.
This situation is ridiculous. It is costing tax payer money for us to rent a place while this place not only belongs to the city but is largely unused. Please join us in taking a stand!
Time to go home. We should never have been kicked out in the first place for 501c3 non profits who can raise their owns funds and Neighborhood Counces are not allowed to. It's the same thing as taking food out of the mouth of babies! This wrong needs to be made right!
As a legal extention of city government, they should be able to have an office in city property.
I would appreciate having a convenient location to hold petition meetings. Specifically petitions regarding the installation of speed humps being in my neighborhood.
The way Sunland - Tujunga gets mistreated and disrespected by OUR elected REPRESENTATIVES, is deplorable !! Your job is representing residents not representing what next election you wish to win !!

Fuentes has gone and left this area without representation. There is plenty of space in his old office for the ST N C. Please let them use the building to conduct their business.
