Sutton is lacking a children’s playground. We’ve got young families and doting grand parents that have to travel to other areas to use such facilities. Let’s gather as many signatures as possible so that Fingal County Council can’t ignore our request for a decent sized public playground within a reasonable walking distance from our homes in Sutton. The planned playground at the Santa Sabina apartments will not be sufficient and in signing this we will be letting Fingal County Council know as much.

The momentum for a local playground is undeniable now. Fingal County Council has to pay attention to this energy.

Would be a huge assets to the area , plenty of land owned by Fingal for example “Teddy’s field “ in St Fintans housing estate

I recomend the use of the green at carrickbrack hill, at the rear enterance to St.Fintans NS There is parking there , at the moment the green is underutilised.

I don’t drive and when I want to take my god kids to a park it’s a bus or a walk (by which time they are exhausted) the whole way to St. Anne’s

As a parent of a 1 year old access to an alternative playground would be so beneficial to us and the rising numbers of children in the community. We have 1 public playground in Howth/Sutton which is stretched beyond its limit, particularly at the weekends. It is evident from the preliminary 2022 census results that the rise in population in fingal is one of the highest for the entire country.

Sutton badly needs a playground. Parents have to use cars and drive to Howth. Not good for traffic or environment for Sutton.

A public playground would be a fantastic addition to the amenities in the area. Sutton is changing with lots of young families. Howth and Baldoyle playgrounds are great but too far unless you drive. A playground within walking distance is essential. Please support this petition.
