We, the Citizens of Switzerland County, IN, petition the Switzerland County School Corporation to immediately remove board members Wayne Daugherty, Bill Roberts, Nance Peters and Jill Cord or to immediately force their resignation.
The Citizens of this county will no longer pay for health benefits for these voluntary, part-time elected officials. They have failed to address questions and communicate with Citizens of this county. Have refused to compromise with other board members on the excessive spending on their personal benefits, have publically put down our communities and have disgraced themselves through broken promises. We believe they no longer have our County, School Corporation, Faculty and Children in their best interest.Since 2011, $485, 057.15 has been spent on 4 of the 7 board members. We are paying $6,657.08 each month. THIS HAS TO STOP NOW! Put the money back into the classrooms, our children, and extracurricular activities! Voice your opinion at the next meeting! Monday Feb 15, 6 p.m. @ the school administration Bldg.
