Jallikattu a very traditional and ancient event that has been banned in Tamilnadu, India. This page is to show our strong support to this event. Being thousands of miles away its we all need stand together with the students in Tamil Nadu and show our support for lifting the ban against jallikattu. The campaign in support of Jallikattu is seen as a “ campaign by Tamilians in support of a Tamil sport “ , this mis conception needs to be broken . The whole idea of our protest is that “ native breed of bulls should be preserved , banning jallikattu will indirectly affects its breeding and survival “

TAGDV would like to invite you and your family to show your support for Jallikattu, by gathering and holding a peaceful demonstration...,

Bull Taming it is. Game has fair regulations both for Bull and men participating in it. Lift the Ban. Let the breed thrive. Respect the tradition. Go after true animal cruelty. Stop fooling around. I stand by and support 1000s of youth and TAGDV.

Banning JALLIKKATTU is not a solution, rather amend laws and strengthen the monitoring and punishments for a few who break those laws on treatment of these bulls. Keep the centuries old tradition and cultural identity of Tamils by removing the ban on JALLIKKATTU.
