Final supporters
I am a student in Teacher Love's class, a course that has been marked by significant absences from our instructor. Over this term, our teacher has not been present for at least 50% of the scheduled classes. This lack of guidance has led to whole units being skipped over and unrealistic expectations placed on us as students - we've had to complete projects within a mere three-day timeframe.
Our final assignment, which accounts for 15% of our overall grade, was introduced without any explanation or instruction from our teacher including the fact that they were absent throughout all of it. The absence of teaching is not just impacting our grades but also depriving us of valuable knowledge and learning experiences.
This situation is unfair and detrimental to all students in the class who are striving for academic success. We request that grades be compensated to reflect these extraordinary circumstances and that the final exam be canceled due to a lack of adequate preparation time.
We urge school administrators in Vaughan, ON, Canada to take immediate action on this matter. Please sign this petition if you believe in fair grading practices and quality education for all students.

I have spent my afternoons gathering accounts from classmates who feel just as lost and abandoned as I do. The stories coming in only confirm that our frustration is shared by everyone in this room. We are currently preparing a formal letter to present these findings to the administration.

Seeing this kind of momentum feels like a weight finally lifting off my shoulders after so many frustrating and silent days in that classroom. It is clear that I am not the only one struggling to keep up with these unfair demands while our teacher remains absent. Knowing so many of you are fighting for this change gives me real hope that the administration will finally listen.

MY SON IS IN THIS CLASS AND IS STRUGGLING SO MUCH WITH THE WORKLOAD BECAUSE NO ONES THERE TO EXPLAIN IT. FIX THIS.
This is honestly ridiculous. We pay for school to learn not to teach ourselves everything.
