We, the undersigned, strongly support an on-site Fort Bend Independent School District(FBISD) high school in the community of Telfair as originally showcased by the home builders and Newland Corporation in their development plans. As Telfair residents and Fort Bend County Taxpayers we urge Newland to make it attractive for the FBISD to strongly favor land within Telfair boundaries for the future high school. Newland, as the Developer, and Builders, past and current, within the Telfair community have used the on-site high school to market and attract home buyers to Telfair. As home owners and tax-payers, we, the residents, request Newland to (1) Extend the deadline imposed on FBISD to make a decision on the purchase of the land. (2) Make an offer to FBISD, in order to make attractive a decision to build a new high school located within the Telfair community.
