This is a formal petition, set forth to demand that the Texas Legislature call for an Article V Constitutional Convention of the states for the sole purpose of instituting Term Limits on both the Senate and the House of Representatives of the United States of America. We call on our State to do this lieu of the Federal Congress and it's leaders having shown to pose a clear and present danger to the integrity and purposeful execution of the will of the people by positioning their own political careers before the good of the country as whole. We do this with full reservations and regard to the consequences of opening a Constitutional Convention. We do this now allowing that there remain no other viable options afforded to the people to limit the power of the Federal Government, and secure the rights of the people of the United States through Constitutional means.

I fully support term limits. If the President is limited in term why are other Government servants not limited.

I believe it’s time to make a change to this people that have to much power. They are not longer Representing the people but themselves. They feel untouchable
