We, members of ST49 of the SFFD, wish to submit a grievance due to the necessary difficulties that will be suffered due to the allocation of prime and desired shifts to new academy graduates. The below signatures reflect our discontent with the proposed schedule, and our wish for an updated schedule that opens these shifts to current members.
I have been hearing stories from so many of you about how this schedule change threatens your time at home. Behind the scenes I am gathering these experiences to show leadership that this policy hurts the people who have already put in the work.

Seeing this level of support from the rest of the crew confirms that I am not the only one feeling forgotten by these scheduling changes. Knowing that my peers finally have my back makes the long nights at the station feel a little less lonely.
