CPM is a new curriculum introduced this year and last year that is strongly compelling talking and group based strategies. This curriculum has done nothing but stress me and many other people out due to the long strung out questions in the book. These questions could really be simplified rather than being so complicated. Another issue with this curriculum is, the book doesn't actually teach anything. The old common core book had many, many examples and steps that are designed for help and not confusion. Also, the teachers that are assigned to this curriculum appear to not know what they are doing. Why not switch back to the old curriculum, put up a powerpoint, let us take some notes, rather than this stupid group-based work?!
