The Restroom Access Act, is legislation passed by several U.S. states that requires retail establishments that have toilet facilities for their employees to also allow customers to use the facilities only if the customer suffers from an inflammatory bowel disease or other medical condition requiring immediate access to a toilet. This law is not in effect in New York state. I am trying to get this passed in New York. In addition to this I am also trying to get a law passed to allow people with a severe bowel or bladder disorder to have access to a handicap sticker.

I suffer from a very bad case of Irritable bowel syndrome with bowel spasms so when I have to go i have go. I don't have time to walk through a parking lot to get to a toilet and I don't have time to be told there are no public restrooms. If I don't go within five minutes from the time the pain starts it just comes out due to the spasms. This condition is a very difficult thing to live with it makes it difficult to even leave your home. I know I am not the only person in this state that has this issue and It is very important to me to get this passed. I want to be able to leave my home and know that if I have to go to a bathroom I can have access to a restroom and I wouldn't have to walk through a parking lot to get there because if I do I may not make it. This is a disability and does handicap you at times.

If you agree and want to stand with me please sign my petition. Lets make a difference in New York State.
