Timbourine for SU
SU has been rid of the tambourine for far too long now. We need to take a stand.
Today I grew a pair and put my name down for SU worship to play the tambourine, the world's best instrument no questions asked, only to be turned down by Stephen Woods, the dirty racist. He says that tambourines and guitars should be separated, that they shouldn't even be allowed on the same bus.
Wasn't that first song today a bit depressing, because no-one wanted to sing, it took Stephen to tell us to sing. I think that a tambourine would get more people to SU, that it would get people to sing and would really bring the worship to life.
After my failed attempt at CE when Scott took my beloved tambourine off me, I think that this would be sweet revenge. If I played it next week at SU where he will be preaching. All the committee members agree, and I'm sure everyone else does too.
To further prove my argument, Psalm 150:5 reads, "Praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals". Am I wrong in saying the tambourine has small symbols on the side?
Another point is the tambourine is mentioned more times in the Bible than a guitar. That just says it all. The tambourine is more holy than a guitar.
My last and final point is for Stephan only, so if you arn't him don't read it. Lucy loves my tambourine more than you.
