Do you live in Mid-City Los Angeles and shop at Trader Joe's all of the time? Are you tired of driving into Culver City or Hollywood to find a TJ’s to shop at? If there were a Trader Joe's closer to your home in Mid-City, would you be likely to shop there more often? If you answered 'yes' to any of the questions above - then sign this petition to encourage Trader Joe's to build a store right in Mid-City, Los Angeles. We have the perfect spot too - the new shopping center at Mid-Town Crossing (where the new Lowes is). Historically, the Trader Joe's organization has always opposed putting a store "south of Pico" in the city of Los Angeles - but a new plan has been floated recently, with the idea of bringing a Trader Joe's to the Crenshaw district (near Rodeo). That’s fine – but what’s wrong with Mid-City? There are vacant spaces at Mid-Town Crossing just waiting for development. The only way that Trader Joe’s, CIM Group (the Mid-Town Crossing developer), and CD-10 will know that we want a TJ’s built in our neighborhood in Mid-City is if we let our voices be heard.
