Following the submission of an application to Newcastle City Council for a fish and chip shop at 7 Osborne Road, I would like to register my support for the proposal.

The introduction of a high quality fish and chip shop would provide a much needed service to Jesmond which is not currently available and would be of great value to the community.

The property is currently empty and a new shop being introduced will allow the vibrancy of Jesmond to continue, addingto the diversity of shops in the area, whilst also playing an important role in supporting local businesses.

I believe that the takeaway will be well used and will add to the attraction of Jesmond as a place to live, work and visitand I wholeheartedly support the proposal.
