Tell the Berkeley City Council - Traitors are NOT HEROES!
The Berkeley City Council is at it again.
Even though they tried, and failed, to force Marine recruiters out of their city, they continue to show disdain for our brave troops and their missions with their latest action – they are poised to pass a resolution declaring support and honoring Bradley Manning, the Army specialist who is accused of being the ‘source’ that controversially leaked documents to Wikileaks.
It is unconscionable for a soldier in our armed forces, to leak thousands documents knowing full well that the person he gave them to intended to publish them, even if doing so might put our troops on the front lines in danger. Yet that is exactly what Bradley Manning is accused of doing.
If Manning did indeed leak thousands of sensitive documents to Wikileaks, then he has directly endangered the lives of American troops, and he is a TRAITOR, NOT a HERO!
The fact that the Berkeley City Council would call someone a hero after turning their backs on their fellow troops and publishing information that could lead to the death of more troops, is an outrage.
Berkeley, stop supporting anyone who attacks, betrays, or works against our brave troops! Your actions are un-American and just as traitorous as the source of Wiki-leaks or any others who turn their backs on our troops, give aid and comfort to our enemies, or otherwise betray their country!
This resolution is un-American and you should NOT vote for it! People like Manning should NOT be held up as heroes, but condemned as enemies!
