"We, the undersigned, implore the DeKalb County Board of Commissioners, Interim CEO Lee May, Chief Operating Officer Zachary Williams, and all other related DeKalb County administrators to coordinate with Chamblee City and execute the transfer of Dresden Park to Chamblee City without delay, according to the law set forth in Georgia Municipal Code Section 36-31-11.1(f), as Chamblee and its citizens have requested, so as to avoid needless litigation and serve in the best interest of taxpayers."

Either transfer the park to its current rightful citizens (Chamblee), or explain why the park isn't being transferred -- other than the obvious, which is to drag it through the courts at taxpayers' expense. We would much rather use our tax dollars on the park itself. Please stop dragging feet and make it happen!

Dresden Park is located in Chamblee and would be included in a comprehensive development plan for expanded use by local residents. This would relieve Dekalb of the economic burden of development.

We are now Chamblee residents and live on Dresden Drive. I'm also involved on a regular basis of supplying furnishings such as picnic tables, benches, trash receptacles, grills, and bike racks to DeKalb parks. We just supplied these items to the Brookhaven parks so I'm familiar with park needs. I also supply most of the park signs in DeKalb county.

My property touches this park and I maintain a good portion of the rear of the properties that also touch this Park. Short of its renovation by Dekalb, their maintenance of the park has been poor. Please release the park to the City of Chamblee and honor the voice of the people that requested our inclusion into the City of Chamblee.

The creek separates Dresden park from my home. This park is used by families every weekend for picnics, sports, etc. It needs the attention it deserves. I've lived in my home since April 2004 & Dekalb County has done the minimum required to maintain it. Please give Chamblee an opportunity to give it the glory it deserves.

Chamblee would like to take over maintenance and upgrades of this park. DeKalb County should not worry, it will be improved in short order and parks are public spaces. This means that it will still be open to Unincorporated residents. It will just be better maintained and the taxes collected from nearby residents will be used to support and enhance the park.

Transfer Dresden Park to Chamblee City. The park is in the Chamblee City limits!

The park is in the new Chamblee limits and should be turned over to Chamblee without any delay or political games and I hope the Dekalb County management will act in a just manner and do what is right.
