The University of Toledo Muslim Student Association would like to request a larger prayer room in the UT Student Union. Muslims on campus use the current prayer room; however, the prayer room in SU 3516 cannot accommodate the number of Muslims who need to utilize the room. During prayer times, there is often a long line to await usage of the room. The time needed to wait oftentimes makes students late to their next class. This makes it difficult for members of the University to follow their religious obligations. UTMSA members would like to ask University of Toledo Administration to accommodate Muslims on campus with a larger prayer room that is accessible to students throughout the day.
