This petition supports the creation of legislation in the state of New Hampshire which, when passed, will allow for a conscientious belief exemption in cases of mandatory vaccine administration. The Conscientious Belief Exemption would be added to TITLE X. PUBLIC HEALTH CHAPTER 141-C. COMMUNICABLE DISEASE Exemption under RSA 141-C: 20-c. The legislation would allow an adult student, or a parent or legal guardian of a minor attending school to claim a conscientious belief exemption to vaccination mandates, but still permit the NH Commissioner of Health to keep non-vaccinated students out of school and/or daycare in cases of a public health outbreak of the illness associated with the vaccine. PETITION: We, the undersigned citizens and residents of New Hampshire, support the creation and passage of a bill that will provide a Conscientious Belief Exemption to mandatory vaccination in the State of New Hampshire.
