No more fines for noise and parties before midnight at Victoria Halls Leicester
As residents of Victoria Halls Leicester we believe that point 3.18 of the tenancy agreement, which states that we are not to make any noise which can be heard outside the flat, should be with in reason. With this, we agree that noise before midnight should be allowed. Of course, noise disrupting the working environment should be dealt with through personal complaining to the caretakers, and in this case further action may be taken. We also believe that fines should be issued after a 3 point warning system. This is due to the financial difficulties imposed on the majority of residents. A fairer system would ensure cooperation and respect. No where in the tenancy agreement does it stipulate that we are not allowed parties in our flat. For this reason we would like the letter RE: Parties/gatherings at Victoria Hall dated 21/01/10 to be retracted.
