Our Purpose:
-Smoking will kill half a million Americans this year. Ecigs/Vape won't.
-Burning tobacco in cigarettes produce 4,000 known chemicals which are harmful to the user and bystanders.
-Ecigs/vapor is 99% less harmful than conventional cigarette smoke.
-The rate of success in smoking cessation is greater than any other nicotine replacement therapy or method currently available.
-According to the CDC, 20% of Iowans smoke cigarettes. That's 430,000 smokers, with 60,000 in Linn County alone. An additional 11% are minors, aged 12-17 years old. Even so, ecigs are 18+ only.
-Smokers spend $850-$2500 annually on cigarettes.
-Ecig users/Vapers can spend as low as $600 annually.
-NO ASH. NO SMOKE. NO BUTTS.
-Vapor is made when a coil heats up a liquid composed of 4-5 components, which are:
Propylene Glycol, Vegetable Glycerin, (Both of which are FDA GRAS Certified) Distilled water, Natural Flavors (FEMA GRAS Certified) and OPTIONAL United States Pharmacopeial Grade-Nicotine.
(GRAS means: Generally Recognized As Safe...For consumption.)
>Ecigs/vape greatly reduce health risks and complications, as well as potential for disease one would undoubtedly get through smoking cigarettes. It's a 99% less harmful and cheaper alternative to smoking.
Shopping through Visavis will save customers money and will benefit the health of those who switch from smoking to using ecigs/vaping.
**This petition is to show interest in Visavis opening.
We need to show investors that there is a want and need for such a business to open and function locally.
Visavis will not only sell ecigs/vapes and e-liquid, but will serve tea, locally-made bakery items and have a lounge area with free wifi.
A vapor friendly environment.

I am truly stunned by the level of support for this cafe and I keep having to remind myself that this began as just a simple idea. It is becoming clear that so many of you care about these alternatives and the credit for this momentum belongs entirely to you.

This is a great way to show support for healthier life choices for oneself and others by satisfactorily replacting tobacco consumption
There are certain levels of vapers. It sounds like the both of us are more of hobbyists? We like a lot of different types of atomizers, batteries, etc. Basic vapers spend on a battery, replacement heads, new atomizers and juice as they require it. Thats where that math came from.
