WaNee, a school system that promotes a tradition of excellence, caves on gender neutral gowns.

Please join our petition to keep the traditional two color (black and red) graduate gowns at Northwood High School.

WaNee parents and community members, the decision was made by Principal David Maugel and approved by Superintendent Scot Croner to remove the traditional two color (black and red) caps and gowns and proceed with a "gender neutral" black color. Although one color has been done in the past, this year it is being mandated because of those students with "gender identity" issues. We are hereby asking the administration to reverse it's decision and follow the values of the Christian conservative community as a whole.

We commend the students who have taken their own courageous steps to address this issue as well as the many parents who have expressed their outrage over the lack of consultation in the decision process. Indiana Liberty Coalition is thereby coordinating a petition for additional community input to encourage the WaNee administration to reverse course and stand for the traditional two (black and red) cap and gown colors. We are asking the administration to consider how this deceptive decision will reflect on how the school proceeds with further implementation of "gender" issues. If the administration cannot stand firm on the tradition of gown colors, how will they ever stand to protect the rights and freedoms of those who will be subjected to further transgender issues? (ex: bathrooms, locker rooms, shower rooms, etc.)

Please sign your name to the petition below and let the WaNee administration know that you stand with the student majority and their desire for two colors (black and red) for graduate gowns.
