Sub - Replacing of Convocation Robes
Dear Sir,
Convocation ceremony for Northern Region is going to be held on 24th July, 2017. This message is from participants of Convocation to be held on 24th July, 2017, Respected President ICSI, All Central Council Members and All Regional Council Members of NIRC.
Convocation ceremonies are seen as the culmination of an important phase in student life and every student gets once in life time opportunity to wear robe and flinging their black scholars' hats into the air. Wearing black gowns and caps, and jumping up to get the perfect shot to celebrate a new chapter in our lives.
We were stunned to hear such announcement from ICSI that wearing of Indian Attire with out robe in name of our tradition is not welcomed by participants of convocation. We are not against Indian Attire, but if robes are also included along with Indian attire decision of Institute(ICSI) will be welcomed.
Thanks & Regards
Convocation Participants
