Dr. Pankaj Satija and his wife Dr. Monika Ummat have been working legally and serving in the United States for the last sixteen years. They have two young children born in the US.

Both immigrants from India are highly specialized in their fields. Dr Pankaj is a neurologist who helped found the Pain and Headache Centers of Texas and performs about 200 operations a month. Dr Monika is Pediatric neurologist specializing in epilepsy.

Over their years of service and stay in the United States, they have developed close relationships and bonds of trust & care with the community around them be it their hundreds of patients, colleagues, neighbors, friends and family.

Recently they found themselves in an unfortunate situation where slight oversight of their paperwork caused extraordinary complexity and confusion in their immigration request for permanent residency.

This petition has been started to show that as a community we truly care about the Satija family, and want them to stay in nited states. They have invested years of hard work and dedication to serve this community, and this is our voice to request to make corrections in their immigration paperwork so that it can proceed smoothly for approval.

We need them as much as they need our help today. They are caring for hundreds of people including extremely sick children, with some of them seeing them for last several years. All those lives will be impacted negatively if Satija family leave. We need your signatures to share with the whole world that we all care for them, and want them to stay.
