The PPS has finally confirmed they are moving forward with a prosecution. It has been a long and painful road to get here but we have achieved the outcome we fought for. We will remain watching to ensure the legal process follows through to the end.

I am aware of the file for Cody the collie dog doused in flammable liquid and set on fire on 26th august 2012 in Magheberry is now with you to decide if the accused will be prosecuted. This was a horrific crime on a defenceless animal causing immense suffering. The Agnew family especially the two young boys have been left devastated. It also touched the hearts on many people world wide.I feel it is in the public interest to prosecute the perpetrators to the fullest extent of the law and wish to add my name to those who seek Justice for Cody.
From the Family: We still think of Cody everyday. She was our beloved family pet. The devastation it has left us and the boys will always be with us. The culprits need to be brought to justice. Preventing them from committing these disgusting crimes or worse. our family will forever be heart broken.

Seeing the weight of this support grow is heavy but it gives me a reason to keep pushing despite the long silence from the authorities. This momentum proves that people have not forgotten what happened to Cody. We are not letting this fade away.

Reaching one thousand signatures on this feels heavy because it reminds me of exactly why we started. It has been an exhausting road but seeing this level of public demand for Cody gives me the strength to push forward.

The weight of this case rests heavy on all of us and the silence from the authorities is exhausting. We need more pressure to ensure they see this growing list of people who demand accountability for what happened to Cody.

If crimes like this are allowed to go unprosecuted and punished, it gives the impression that it's ok. It gives the green light to others of a cruel disposition to commit similar acts.
theis is a heinous act and one that should not be allowed..If the people that did this do not understand why it is morally wrong, then they must be punished in a way they understand..A HUGE fine and some kind of jail time (community service as well),,Make an example of them so others will be afraid to do anything this horrible. Thank you.
Cruelty to animals cannot be ignored. The message to anyone who chooses to cause harm to an animal through cruelty, neglect or causing them fear should be they will face being held accountable for their crime and will be given a stern prison sentence. It should always be in the public interest to prosecute anyone for crimes against animals.
They are sick and twisted to carry out such an evil and cruel torturous death to this dog, they need to be charged to the fullest extent of the law and I hope that means a LONG time in prison. They are a danger to any community they live in and will escalate their violence from dogs to humans at some point, those are the statistics and they need to be taken seriously.
The Northern Ireland justice system has to use the full extent of the law to bring the perpetrators to face the courts for a heinous crime.
Justice for Cody. God bless Cody and your family.
Are you kidding me? Seriously this should be a no brainer, nothing else should be considered. The evil sub human who did this to this poor dog needs jail time. This dog has suffered and continues to suffer physically and mentally. A clear message needs to be delivered here. Animal abusers know there is no real deterrent so they don't care. A clear message needs to be delivered here. Nothing less than serious jail time is the message that needs to be delivered by the courts. Our laws need to be changed on this serious matter in order to force change. If you are an animal abuser then the jail time will reflect the level of abuse. Animal abuse is not acceptable and until the courts reflect this abusers will keep abusing. Get serious people.

As an animal lover and canine foster mum and trainer i feel it only appropriate that this person should face criminal charges.
