I have had numerous, long , conversations with counsellor Graham Stacey about arranging for a four way pedestrian crossing to be put at the crossroads at Fagins . With more and more houses being built down towards Station Road and Efail Isaf , this has resulted in more children (and adults ) trying to dodge the red lights at attempts to cross the road. Three times I have witnessed cars having to suddenly stop in front of children. Only last week a car nearly ran into a lady with a young baby in a pushchair. Although there is a pedestrian crossing only yards away outside the electrical shop. I can understand that children being children , who are heading towards Station Road cannot be bothered to walk to that crossing only then to have to come back on themselves. So I took it upon myself to contact counsellor Stacey and he strongly believes that if we get a big enough petition together for church village then something can be done about this before it's too late and a serious accident would have happened.
