Welcome Parents of Weaver's Out of District Siblings, As I'm sure you've heard, officially or unofficially, Weaver is in the process of changing its siblings admission policy, and placing out-of-district siblings as a LOW PRIORITY. When we all enrolled our older kids at Weaver, it was with the understanding that siblings (ALL siblings) will be given FIRST priority for admission. This year, the School Board is trying to change this policy and make a distinction between in-district siblings and out-of-district siblings. I hope you agree that this is unfair. We can't sit around waiting to hear from them. THEY NEED TO HEAR FROM US! With this petition, we hope to demonstrate how much Weaver would be losing, not just through the new admissions, but should each family decide to withdraw their entire family from Weaver. Weaver has risen to its number one status with about 40% out-of-district population. Please sign!

THE NEXT BOARD MEETING is scheduled for Tuesday March 13th, at 6:30pm Board of Education meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Agendas are posted on the District website (click on About, Board of Education, Board Meeting Agendas) on the Friday prior to each Board meeting.

Ridiculous. We built this school community and now they want to push us out? Unbelievable.

If this goes through we have no choice but to pull all our kids out. Weaver is going to lose so many great families over this.

Please leave the policy alone. My younger one deserves to go to school with her brother just like everyone else.

Seriously? How are we supposed to get all the kids to school if they aren't at the same place. FIX THIS.

My kids have been at Weaver for years and this is just plain wrong. Families shouldnt be split up like this. Keep the policy as it was.
