The school leadership team has officially reversed the recent uniform policy. I appreciate the resolve shown by everyone who participated in this initiative to address these concerns. We will monitor the implementation of the new guidelines to ensure the adjustments remain fair for all students.
Hi. So basically I made this petition about the uniform because I think the new rules are a bit far fetched. Keeping students in isolation and sending them home because they don't have a tie is affecting their education more than just letting them be would. Obviously, I understand that uniform is an important aspect of school and I have no problem with the uniform itself, but, like I said, the new rules are far-fetched. Some people buy new shoes for school for around £50, only to find out later that because they have a white sole, they're 'unsuitable'. I made this petition to see how many people agree and try to get SLT etc to notice that these new rules are causing more problems than they're fixing.
The momentum behind this petition highlights a significant shared frustration regarding current school policies. It is encouraging to see this many people acknowledge that these uniform regulations are counterproductive to our academic environment.

The shoe rule is honestly a joke. We spent so much money on those just for the school to say no. Sort it out.

isolation for a missing tie is way over the top. punishment should fit the crime!

Education comes first. Uniforms are meant to be simple not some weird fashion police show.

My son got sent home over his socks. SOCKS. Its ridiculous how they care more about what you wear than what you are actually learning.
