For over a decade now, there has been misinformation and extreme bias spewed onto the internet and something needs to be done to filter all of this information! I am asking that you please sign this petition in order to put in place some verification clauses for our news reporters and given sources on social media. These clauses will help create safe and reliable spaces where we can receive our news! Social media has been proven to be the main source of where everybody receives their news, so it is only right that news on these platforms is accurate and to the point. Everything put out to the media regarding news must be filtered, verified, and ran through in depth by others. X (Twitter) has begun the process of this through their community notes and it only makes sense for every media source to have this capability and feature.
