بالإفراج الفوري عن الرئيس محمد مرسي، وأطالب السلطات الحالية بإيضاح
وتحديد مكان تواجده و ضمان أمنه وسلامته.
لقد اختطفت قوات الجيش المصري الرئيس محمد مرسي من مكتبه أثناء تأدية مهامه
كرئيس منتخب للبلاد، أثناء الانقلاب العسكري عليه في 3 يوليو 2013 وبقي في
سجن سري قسريا لأكثر من خمسة أشهر، لم يعرف خلالها أحد عنه شيئا حتى أفراد
أسرته أو محاميه. وبعد عرضه على المحمة قبل شهرين تقريبا قامت سلطات
الانقلاب بإخفائه مرة أخرى.
بعد شهور من اعتقاله، قررت النيابة فجأة أن توجه تهما باطلة إلى الرئيس
مرسي، منها التحريض على العنف في أحداث الاتحادية بين مؤيديه ومعارضيه في
2012. وقد تم حرمان الرئيس مرسي من أبسط حقوقه المنصوص عليها في الإعلان
العالمي لحقوق الانسان، والعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية
الذي صادقت عليه مصر في 1982.
ثم ظهر الرئيس مرسي للمرة الأولى منذ اختطافه في 4 نوفمبر 2013 في الجلسة
الأولى لمحاكمة اعترض عليها ورفضها واعتبرها غير قانونية لافتقارها إلى
أبسط قواعد المحاكمة العادلة المنصوص عليها في المواثيق الدولية.
وقررت المحكمة تأجيل المحاكمة إلى 8 يناير 2013 إلا أنه في يوم المحاكمة،
أعلنت وزارة الداخلية أنه قد تعذر عليها إحضار الرئيس للمحكمة بسبب سوء
الأحوال الجوية، بالرغم من مخالفة ذلك للواقع؛ فلم يتم إلغاء أية رحلات
جوية من مطار برج العرب في ذلك الوقت.
جدير بالذكر، أن فريق الدفاع عن الرئيس قد تمكن من زيارته مرة واحدة فقط
خلال أكثر من ستة أشهر من الحبس السري والانفرادي في 12 نوفمبر 2013 أرسل
خلالها الرئيس رسالة إلى شعبه بالصمود وأكد أنه لا يزال هو الرئيس الشرعي
للبلاد.
ومنذ ذلك الوقت، تم إخفاء الرئيس عن العالم كله وحتى اليوم .
ويعتبر استمرار إخفاء الرئيس قسريا على يد السلطات المصرية انتهاكا صارخا
لحقوقه كفرد وكرئيس دولة منتخب بحسب جمع القوانين الدولية.
وتجدر الإشارة إلى ظهور تسريب لفيديو ظهر فيه الرئيس محمد مرسي خلاله وقد
جُرحت يده اليمني وتم تضميدها بالشاش الأبيض مما يدل على أن الرئيس قد تعرض
للتعذيب الشديد داخل مقر احتجازه.
إنني أشعر بالقلق حيال أمن الرئيس وسلامته، وأطالب السلطات المصرية
بالإفراج الفوري عن الرئيس محمد مرسي. كما أفيد أنا الموقع أدناه بأن
السلطات المصرية قد أخلت بالتزاماتها الدولية، وأحملها مسئولية الحفاظ على
أمن وسلامة الرئيس، والإفراج الفوري عنه وفقا لقرار الأمم المتحدة الصادر
برقم 39/2013 والذي اعتبرت فيه اعتقال الرئيس محمد مرسي تعسفيا، وطالبت
الحكومة المصرية بالإفراج الفوري عنه وتعويضه ماديا ومعنويا.
I, the undersigned person, demand the immediate release of President Mohamed Morsi. I also demand the current authorities to immediately reveal his whereabouts and ensure his safety and wellbeing.
President Morsi had been abducted at the hands of military junta who took over
power in a military coup on 3rd July 2013, in what amounts to enforced
disappearance.
President Morsi, Egypt's first democratically elected president, had been held
in secret detention for more than 5 months and his whereabouts remain unknown
to date.
Few months following his abduction, the prosecution suddenly decided to falsely
charge President Morsi with inciting violence during Ittihadeya clashes in
2012, between his supporters and opponents.
President Morsi has been deprived of his basic human rights as outlined in the
Universal Declaration for Human Rights and the International Convention on
Civil and Political Rights which Egypt has ratified.
President Morsi was seen in public only once since his abduction on 4 November
2013 during the first court session, which he rejected and considered m
illegitimate. The trial lacked the minimum standards of a fair trial according
to international law.
The court decided to suspend the session and hold another session on 8 January
2014. Ministry of Interior announced that President Morsi will be detained in
Borg Al-Arab Prison.
He was only allowed to see his lawyers once on 12 November 2013, ever since
that time he had no access to his lawyers, family or the outside world.
On 8 January 2014, the Ministry of Interior announced that President Morsi
could not be transferred to the court’s headquarter due to bad weather
conditions and adjourned the hearing until 1 February 2014, despite the fact
that no other flights were cancelled from the airport on the same day.
The ongoing enforced disappearance of President Morsi constitutes a serious
violation to his rights, as well as domestic and international law.
A leaked video of president Morsi showed that his right hand was injured, in
what reflects that the president has been severely tortured in prison.
I, fear for the safety and wellbeing of President Morsi and call on the current
Egyptian authorities to immediately release him. I, the undersigned person,
remind the current Egyptian authorities of their obligation under international
law and hold them responsible for the safety and wellbeing of my elected
president and demand his immediate release in accordance with the UN Working Group
on Arbitrary Detention which adopted Opinion No. 39/2013 describing the detention
of President Morsi and his aides as arbitrary and called for their immediate
release and to be provided with adequate redress for the material and moral
damage suffered they suffered.

Dr.Mohamed Morsi is the legitimate President of Egypt, who is unjustly prevented from exercising his executive powers, and as an Egyptian citizen with rights as indicated by the 2012 Egyptian Constitution, I demand that he returns.
Things hushed up and done in the dark are generally wrong. I am not convinced with the excuses presented to the gullible public, regarding Dr Morsi. But what do you expect when his legitimate presidency was usurped by a conniving tyrant? Truth and justice will prevail!

If this happened in the UK or America to a serving, democratically elected President - what would be the outcome? This man was attempting to reconstruct Egypt with very little assistance and very little experience. This outcome was always the armys intention is my belief.
