We understand that HSBC wants to do everything it can to help the hundreds of customers of WrapIt who have become caught up in the current situation with WrapIt. By withholding funds from WrapIt, HSBC has forced the company into administration while still collecting money that it had no intention of releasing to allow the company to trade. While HSBC has a liability to pay back credit card transactions this liability can be discharged more efficiently and fairly in gift form. We urge HSBC to release funds and adopt the rescue plan put forward by WrapIt management to deliver outstanding gifts to couples over the next 90 days.
