Wrhs 10 min. Restroom Rule Removed
Wrhs is now strictly implementing a 10 minutes bathroom rule. Students are not allowed to go to the bathroom the first or last 10 minutes of class. Students currently have a passing period of 5 minutes. This short amount of time does not allow for students to go to the restroom and get to class on time before class. Wrhs also has a strict tardy policy where just 3 tardies in a whole quarter will get students a lunch detention. So going to the restroom during passing period without a tardy is extremely difficult. This now makes it for students to have to wait 35 minutes before and after every class to go to the restroom. This is a health hazard. UTI's are no joke and should be prevented. Another reason why this new policy should be removed is because the first and last 10 mins. of class are the least important. They expect students to go to the restroom during prime instructional time in the middle of class.
There are other ways to prevent skipping. This new rule is unfair to all the good students that don't skip.
Do better.
