The WVIAC basketball tournament is one of the longest-running events in collegiate hoops; the 70th annual event was held earlier this year at the Charleston Civic Center. Attendance at the WVIAC tournament used to rank among the highest in Division II.. not any more.. It has steadily declined over the past few years due to the unnecessary ban of alcoholic beverages.. Please sign this petition to bring back the sale of beer at the Charleston Civic Center, and bring back the joy of a great tournament filled with good basketball and enjoyment of an adult beverage.
