To the Management of Yamami Residence Compound,

We, the undersigned residents of Yamami Residence Compound, are writing to express our deep concern about the ongoing safety and security issues in our community.

We are particularly alarmed by the incident that occurred in the early morning of May 13, where an intoxicated resident was roaming around the community at 2 AM and acted aggressively towards a group of ladies. He stumbled his way into various buildings trying to find his apartment until one of the maintenance staff escorted him to his apartment and locked him inside. We demand immediate action be taken against this resident.

We also discovered that there is insufficient security camera coverage in the community. There are no cameras in the outside areas, and half of the cameras are malfunctioning. This is a significant safety concern, and we request immediate action to fix this issue.

Furthermore, we are concerned that there are no members of management present during night hours, leaving the community vulnerable to potential risks. We demand immediate action to address this issue.

Given the longstanding issues related to safety, security, cleanliness, pest control, and lack of accountability of the management team, we request a change in the approach of management towards taking ownership and accountability. We also request more open discussion and transparency in the future, and a commitment to start a more positive change and attitude in resolving the longstanding issues in the community.

Therefore, we request the following:

  1. A proper response to the incident, which should be the immediate eviction of said resident.
  2. Fixing the inadequate CCTV coverage and ensuring that all cameras are functioning correctly.
  3. Ensuring that at least one member of the management team is present during night hours.
  4. A change in the approach of management towards taking ownership and accountability.
  5. More open discussion and transparency in the future, and a commitment to start a more positive change and attitude in resolving longstanding issues in the community.

We believe that these requests are reasonable and necessary for the safety and well-being of all residents. We hope that you will take our concerns seriously and take immediate action to address them.

Sincerely,

Residents of Yamami Compound.
