This petition is signed by Year 11 students at WKGS who are in favour of holding a prom for all Year 11 students in 2018. We would like this prom to be held before the start of the GCSE exams this summer.
Many people would love for this to happen as a lot of students (our friends) are leaving for a different college/sixth form next year and we will not get the opportunity to all have a prom together.
We understand that it is very short notice and that the school schedule is very busy and it is a big ask. However, we are willing to fundraise in similar ways that the sixth form do for their prom to help fund the cost.
We would all be very grateful if you could take time to look at this petition and consider holding a prom for our year group this summer, thank you.
