By signing this document, I hearby petition against application No. 17-ZC-4170 & 17-CU-4150 to add 5 storage buildings measuring 40' x 250' and 1 storage building measuring 60' x 282' located north of 1490 Leonard Point Rd. As a resident near the property in question, I am concerned with the negative impact these storage facilities will have on our residential community, the future home of Jones Park, and property home values. This type of development is inconsistent with surrounding residential homes and current zoning. This plan is not the best use of this property and should not be approved.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many neighbors have taken a moment to speak up about this issue. Seeing the community come together like this is entirely unexpected and truly belongs to all of you.

Zoning restrictions are designed to maintain residential area characteristics and uniformity. To just change the zoning qualifications at the request of any entity makes zoning irrelavant.

Being new land owners in the area, we strongly oppose storage units going up. We would have bought land elsewhere if we had known this might happen.

Many of us have only two ways out of our area, Sand Pit or Leonard Point Roads to Hy 21, more traffic on Leonard Point would cause a greater danger to walkers, bikers and traffic slow down to automobiles.Plus, would you buy a home facing a row of storage facilities??

Please keep Jones Park in a residential area. There are plenty of other areas to put storage units, but very few places to have a park that families can walk and bike to!

I do worry about the theft and other crime that this could possibly bring to our kid friendly neighborhood, especially being directly next to the park.

I can not imagine a worse use for this land. This is a residential area, bordering a park. I'm not sure one could prove a need for additional storage units in our township; but, if they could it would not be in this location.

A storage facility does not belong here. It will be an eyesore and bring unwanted transient traffic to a peaceful residential area.
